Sferracavallo is a tiny village included in the Isola delle Femmine – Capo Gallo Nature Reserve. Placed at the foot of the Mount Capo Gallo, Sferracavallo is part of the province of Palermo, close to the Mondello beaches. Founded in the 15th century by a group of fishermen, this small village was called “Calandria”.
